Abatab artists are among a group of New York City musicians helping upstate New York residents recover from the devastation of Hurricane Irene. Allie Moss, Bess Rogers and Ari Hest have each contributed a song to “After the Flood”, a 43-song download, proceeds of which go to hurricane victims, many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods. [Photos] The download is available exclusively from bandcamp at aftertheflood.bandcamp.com.

If you purchase the download, we’ll send you free tabs for the three songs donated to the compilation by the above artists. Just forward your bandcamp receipt to jeff [at] abatab.com.  $5,000 has been raised in the first 72 hours; kudos to NYC artist Martin Rivas for coordinating the project. Spring has sprung here in New York City! And we’d like you to know how excited we are to now offer official Lelia Broussard guitar tabs, which you’ll find posted on her page. As a side note, right now Lelia is among the top 4 artists vying for the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine. Sweet. We’re voting and hope you will, too!
